About Jeannette
Jeannette Athena Rothweiler MA, MFT is a licensed psychotherapist with Master’s degrees in Counseling Psychology from The California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS-1992) and in Depth Psychology and Mythology from Pacifica Graduate Institute (2010). She has 25 years’ experience as a therapist working in private practice, hospice, and at The Integrative Medical Clinic of Santa Rosa on an interdisciplinary team of health practitioners. She served on the board of The Ojai Foundation and is trained in Council practices. She is a graduate of the Center for Psychedelic Therapies and Research at CIIS (2017) and also trained as a psychotherapist in working with physicians in Ketamine Assisted Therapy.
Jeannette as a psychotherapist brings compassion and insight to her work with individuals who she sees in person, or by skype. Her background is in Jungian/Depth psychology, Cognitive-Mindfulness approaches, Transpersonal Psychology, and Integrative therapy. Areas of expertise include working with anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic illness, loss, bereavement, relationship and parenting issues, spiritual issues, mid-life and other initiations, experiences of non-ordinary states of consciousness and Integration work.
She is the principal and primary travel guide at Anima Mundi Journeys, bringing to her journeys her life experience as a bi-cultural multi-lingual world citizen, her diverse educational background, her clinical work including experience with groups and ceremony, her study and respect of diverse cultures and ancient traditions, her love of the mythological/archetypal world, and her awe of the great beauty, magic, and mystery of life here on earth.
